Congratulations Franz! Home buying is stressful and rewarding at the same time. I am in my second home, and the moves get worse as you accumulate personal items (especially kettlebells!)

Pete, ain't that the truth. We are on our third place (owning) and this one is the worst of them as far as fix-er-uppers went! I finally have this place in good enough condition that I would invite a friend over for dinner, and we've been here 3 years plus!!
Of course I wouldn't trade any of it.
Franz, enjoy the ride. Too bad you're so far away, I have turned into quite the handi-man over the years.;)
Best of wishes, as always!

thanks Pete and Tom! We bought a brand new home, fully landscaped with all the upgrades, so luckily I won't need to hire you guys to help me fix things :)

The weekend was strenous, but with my wife's energy, passion and attitude we were able to get everything unpacked and ready over the weekend. The house is ready and it looks great! We feel so blessed and fortunate to be even be able to own a house in San Diego. The house prices were ridiculously high for too many years for us to get into the market. Now that the market is dropping and our business is doing well it enabled us to get into the market. I am pinching myself every morning I wake up!
